Sometimes our daily routine makes us lose track of our own actions and the smallest thing for us may be a little annoying or inconvenient for our neighbors.

Living in a relatively small complex like Colombo, you wish you have no major noises or situations that may annoy you and cause you some discomfort, however due to the subjective nature of the Human Levels of Tolerance to noise, its people has different perception of the same situation. Before you make a complaint, try to see things in a different perspective. Most cases have a reasonable explanation and a respectful brief chat with the person can make a huge difference.

If you have enough reasons to believe you are experiencing a genuine noisy situation please, do not hesitate in get in touch with the local authorities to lodge a formal complaint.
